A great solution. 4 winters have been tested and the prototype works
great. New for snowmobiles/snow vehicles.) The patent fixes the biggest
durability problems of snowmobiles. Also a license option. The patent is
sold based on bids. The future of snowmobile suspension! The patent is
sold based on offers.
The invention offers several advantages. The invention offers several
advantages. A significant advantage is that the independent mass of the
snowmobile is significantly reduced, typically up to about 20-30 kg
compared to the suspension structures implemented in the area defined by
the track system. It is clear that the solution according to the
invention offers cost advantages compared to known solutions, because
fewer parts and thus maintenance supplies are needed. Smaller mass also
saves fuel consumption.
The invention also offers significant advantages in the durability of
the suspension. One of the objects prone to breakage in snowmobiles is
the so-called hanger or suspension failure. The reason for this is that
the front suspension part is typically inclined relative to the
direction of impact. With the invention, the suspension element can be
arranged in a position where it receives shocks advantageously in its
natural operating position, i.e. the shock is directed mainly in the
linear direction of the linearly functioning suspension part.
The invention also avoids the use of latches or lever arms in the
implementation of the suspension.
The invention has the advantage that the snowmobile's actual suspension
movement or rear movement increases by up to 15-20 cm. This is due to
the fact that the roller can be made very low, in which case the
distance between the upper surface and the lower surface is
significantly shorter than in structures where the suspension is
arranged inside the roller.
Because the track system is low, it can be allowed more vertical
movement, which naturally results in better suspension.
With the invention, the contact surface of the roller with the ground
increases, because the lower structure enables the roller to be extended
in the longitudinal direction of the snowmobile.
The invention makes it easier to adjust the suspension height and
damping force, because the suspension elements are easy to handle above
the rail. In one embodiment, the frame has multiple attachment points
for the wishbones, allowing the suspension to be modified.
We sell the entire patent or license it. The company has tested and
developed suspension in Finland. The company develops snowmobiles and
motorcycles. The patent has not been marketed before. I wish the name
had an abbreviation of the name of the inventor (e.g. MPS). As a market,
the potential is great because big brands have come closer to the idea?
patent. After the sale, our company helps with all the information. The
prototype has the "rear support arms" in a slightly different way
because the Skidoo has radiators as part of the frame. The Proto 1 was
air cooled and had straight wishbones. This system is such that the sled
does not "jump" immediately, the suspension "eats bumps"! The market
potential is for sled manufacturers, racing. The "front spring" (arrangement of the spring arms) of the track system really matters. The suspension is perfectly suited to bumps and jumps.
