I am looking for a partner / investor/ patent buyer/ licensing
The standard blanket design has been the same since the 14th century. We have so many blanket designs for babies, kids, and various novelty throws, but how come we don't have one for couples yet? Introducing The Tucky. The patented Tucky gives each person their own blanket portion within a larger shared blanket. I strongly believe that two legs need two edges, and two people need their own blanket.
No more bulky knee pillows and grabbing your partners side of the blanket to tuck and create another edge. The bottom blanket compartments create two flaps that can move on either side for tucking, bunching, and mindful sharing. Now side sleepers who are leg tuckers can face inward instead of clinging to their one outward facing edge all night long.
The simplicity of the design allows both people to move freely without any leg closures. The Tucky looks and functions as a normal blanket for those that don't like change, and there are no visible seams. The flaps fall inward and outward with a few quick tosses, for a smooth bed appearance. Any fabric will work, although I have my favorites! This is a great alternative to the standard blanket, and two separate campy duvets that are used in some European countries.
Necessity is the mother of invention:
I created this invention to help myself in the struggle of sharing a blanket with my husband. I remember when I slept alone and had both luxurious edges of the blanket to my very self. I decided that even if I am married, I do not need to sacrifice my edge and comfort, and I can still share one blanket while feeling connected.
- Blind stitching can be used.
- Blanket edges fall inward for a smooth bed appearance.
